In December 2019 our relatives gave us a beautiful large gold bulb with no sign of life. We put it on a plate on a table in our living room and were wonderfully surprised by the resulting flowers. We've now taken the waxy gold covering off the bulb and popped it into the garden as recommended, so hopefully we might have flowers again next year! |
So, we brought the bulb in from the garden in September 2020, kept it cool and dark through the autumn, brought it out in the middle of November, repotted it and gave it's 'baby' a pot of its own. In the middle of January 2021 we had the beautiful flowers you can see by clicking here |
