We hope that you'll enjoy our selection of a few of the delights of Cornwall. We have chosen well known places,
but hopefully given you a slightly different angle than the usual 'calendar' style picture.
A departure from our normal style as the photographs may need more explanation than normal,
and the context of time as well as place will, we hope, enhance your enjoyment of the beautiful county that is Kernow

Possibly an odd place to start the year, but it seems appropriate - a Cornish greeting "Happy Christmas".
This is one of the many amazing animated Christmas light decorations which the villagers of Angarrack erect every December for all to enjoy.

Two images taken within 5 miles of each other in 2016. The first is one of the drummers struggling through the crowds
to get back to his band and the 'oss on Mayday in Padstow, and the other a fascinating rock formation at Constantine Bay.

Staying with the coast for a while, these are a couple of the beuatiful ships in the harbour at Falmouth during a Tall Ships Race weekend. Falmouth is often asked to be the host town for the start of the international Tall Shups Races, as the crews love the friendly atmosphere of the town, and the large harbour

Differing shots of the beautiful Cornish coastline. The first is the busy harbour at Newlyn with the many fishing boats plying their trade to the market. The middle is a view of The Isle of Scilly taken from Highertown on St Martin looking across to St. Mary's, and the beach with the lifesavers flags is Bude at low tide.

And now some inland atchitecture. A view of part of the Bronze Age (2,000BC - 700BC) Boskednan Nine Maidens Stone Circle. The Carn Galver Engine House dating from about 1871 In September 2005, The Core, the sustainable Education Centre at The Eden Project was opened.

Trelissick House, decorated both inside and out for the Christmas celebrations, dating from about 1755. The spire of Truro Cathedral completed in 1768 Ponsanooth Viaduct built in 1930 to replace the former structure with the tracks supported by timber.
